İsmet Sıral Creative Music Studio (ISCMS), organized by Argos Culture and Arts in cooperation with Gitarcafe with the support of Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency, which held its inaugural activities in 2006, will present audiences and students with a series of thematic concerts, as well as multidisciplinary workshops and conferences, featuring renowned Turkish and international artists. Through long-running programs that blend local and international musical elements with innovative ideas, ISCMS aims to make Istanbul a new focal point for creative music. Based at Istanbul Bilgi University, Santral Campus, but with performances to be staged across the city, the 11-day program for 2010 includes 8 thematic concerts, 23 workshops and seminars, 7 combos (group events guided by the artists), 3 conferences, and several jam-sessions. | MORE
